Angry Help Stop Leechers/bots in AB Games!!!

Hello- GW Players

I have a few Idea's on How to "Stop" those Many Leeches (cheaters) in Alliance Battles! They really Affect the Outcome and take away from the Game. It should take No more then 30 Seconds For Someone to Load in to the Game and start playing. If it takes longer the person is either lagging loading in a bot/hack or leeching.

(#1)
A Good way of dealing with these Leeches/bots is to put a voting/emote system in where other players on that team can Boot that player out of the AB Game, and maybe even to the login screen and that player would be replaced by a new player or random henchmen.

To Add a random player an NPC has to be added in the AB Waiting Area where players can Join Randomly. Players can only be boot if all players type: /boot "players name" (Should be made to only boot players that have not moved after the game timer start ends) most games give 1 minute to load before the game starts off, they already have had ample time to load in.

(#2)
Another way to fix the Problem is After the Game Timer For Game Start Ends, Give the Person between 2-3 Minutes and if they Do not "Move", Boot them out of that game and back to the login Screen, so if it is a Bot/hack it can't just rejoin a new game. Maybe even add/replace the Booted player with a henchmen/hero or random player using the NPC method above.

A way to check how many times a players has been boot can be done by typing something like /times booted "players name" this will also help other players determine if the person is lagging or leeching.

Also if A person is Booted from a AB Game More then 25 Times in a day, There Account Should be Suspended For the rest of the Day or 24 Hours, and if they Do it a Second Time there Account Should be Suspended for One Month, and a Third Time there Account Should be Banned. This applies for both #1 and #2 methods.

I think 2 Warnings are enough to stop these cheaters from reaping the benefits of other players actually playing the game while they sit there and do nothing. It's cheating and I'm Sure it causes lag on the servers.

A system needs to be implemented for Alliance Battle Games, All You GW Players Know what I’m talking about, 1 Leech can be Dealt with, But when you get 2-3 or even 6, in a 12 vs. 12 or 8 vs. 8 battle it pretty much means you Lost and it is getting ridicules. Almost every AB Game I play has at least one Leech or a Bot that just follows players and or does nothing.

"Please Help" Post Your Comments on which Method would work best #1 or #2 and spread the Word and Get One of these Methods implemented in GW. This will help all players enjoy playing the Game without getting Frustrated by Simple minded Cheaters. Just imagine if they cheat in a game like GW (fantasy) what do they do in real life, Help get ride of this trash once and for all and let the real players play fun AB games.

Thank You
(AJSTA) God of Abbadon

When I AB I hardly get any leechers, even so I am sure one or two people can not cause this big of a problem.

Maybe your team is loosing because they are mobbing or your team is attacking the mob and not capping(sorry for the flame)

Also Anet has many more things to do than code this and what not so people can figure out who is leeching and who is not.

"Players can only be boot if all players type: /boot "players name" "
People are just too lazy to type /report. There's so many leechers in AB, and 95% of the time, I'm the only one reporting them. There needs to be a better way...Maybe if someone is inactive for 1 minute, boot them and give them Dishonorable. Iunno.

What to do about the leechers that just space bar follow someone. They do nothing, they die when the person they're with dies, res with them, and just follow them around and do nothing. Technically they're moving but they're completely leeching. As much as I ask for people to report them, usually nobody does.

Too much to bother with for AB, and honestly I'd rather have a leecher than an npc with a sub-par build and no idea of what to do. Just imagine HB but with crap builds and confused AI, but then that's not too far off real ab players anyway.

AB itself needs to be improved before you start kicking players.

AB isn't really "srs business" enough to do this big of an overhaul, imo. Maybe 2 years ago, but now it really doesn't matter all that much, considering only about 100 or so people play it per day.

As much as I hate leechers, AB is the most basic form of PvP leechers and noobs there juct come with the territory.

uh.... /report anyone? 3 reports = no faction for the reported person.

Solution: use the /report function, leecher will eventually stop coming cause there's no reward...
